Copyright Notices

IPTV Canada 4K respects the rights of copyright owners. This page sets out how a rights holder or authorized agent can notify us of claimed infringement, what a complete notice contains and what happens after we receive it. We accept notices under Canada's Notice and Notice regime in the Copyright Act, and notices formatted under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Our commitment: every complete copyright notice is acknowledged and reviewed within 24 hours of receipt, and valid complaints are acted on promptly in accordance with applicable law.

1. Our Approach

We treat every copyright claim seriously. Owners, and agents acting for them, who believe something reachable through our service violates their copyright can reach us through the steps below. After looking into it, we respond as the situation warrants, and that can mean taking the material down or blocking access to it.

2. What a Complete Notice Includes

To be processed quickly, your notice must contain all four elements:

Who you are

  • Full legal name of the copyright owner or authorized agent
  • Email address and telephone number
  • Postal address

The work concerned

A description precise enough to identify the copyrighted work: title, rights holder and any registration details. For multiple works, a representative list is acceptable.

Where the material appears

Specific details that let us locate it in connection with our service: URLs, channel names, program titles, dates and times, or other identifiers. Precision speeds up the review.

Statements and signature

  • A statement of your good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf
  • Your physical or electronic signature

3. After You Send It

  • Within 24 hours: we confirm receipt.
  • Completeness check: if an element is missing, we tell you exactly what to add so you can resubmit without starting again.
  • Review and action: valid complaints are investigated promptly and handled under applicable copyright law. We inform you of the outcome.

4. Counter-Notifications

If material you provided was removed or disabled following a notice and you believe that happened by mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notification. It must include your contact details; a description of the material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake; your consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable courts; and your signature. On receiving a valid counter-notification, we follow the process required by applicable law, which may include restoring the material unless the original complainant begins legal proceedings.

Knowingly false claims have consequences. Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, and comparable principles in Canadian law, a person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that material infringes, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees. If you are unsure whether your rights are infringed, consult a lawyer before submitting a notice.

5. Repeat Infringers

Users found to infringe more than once can lose their accounts, as permitted by our Terms of Service.

6. Where to Send Notices

Send the finished notice by email to our copyright contact, contact@iptvcanada4k.ca with the subject line "Copyright Notice" or "DMCA Notice". With either subject, your message is flagged for priority review and the 24-hour clock begins.
